What We Collect
When you send a rental request, we receive your name, email address, rental dates, the equipment you chose, your message and a request number.
When you write to us by email, we receive what you write and your email address.
We may look at a photo ID when you collect equipment, but we do not keep a copy of it.
The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
Why We Use It
We use your details to answer your request, confirm availability and price, and arrange the rental. This is needed to enter into and carry out a rental agreement with you.
For completed rentals, we keep invoices and related records because Danish bookkeeping law requires it.
Your name and email address are needed to handle a request. Without them we cannot reply or arrange a rental.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Services We Use
The rental request form is handled by Formward, run by EGF Fastighetsservice AB in Sweden. It receives the form, stores it in Sweden and forwards it to us by email through Mailjet in France. We have a data processing agreement with Formward.
The website is hosted by Codeberg e.V. in Germany.
Email to hello@microwave.dk is handled by Proton AG in Switzerland, a country the EU recognises as giving personal data adequate protection.
Like any website, these services see your IP address when your browser contacts them.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
In Your Browser
Your rental cart and the details shown on the request ticket are kept in your own browser, not sent to us. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
How Long We Keep It
Requests that do not lead to a rental are deleted within 12 months.
Records of completed rentals are kept for 5 years from the end of the financial year, as required by Danish bookkeeping law.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, limit how we use it, object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@microwave.dk.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.
